Railway museum
The Railway Museum was established in 2013. It is located in the premises of the former elementary school at Namesti Miru. The collection was donated to the city by the son of Mr. Nikl, the founder and owner.
The extensive collection began in the 1960s. Mr. Nikl was then the cashier inspector. He first began collecting cardboard tickets, photographs and papers. The modernization of the Břeclav - Přerov and Brno - Trenčanská Teplá routes has added a number of items to the collection, such as a ticket office, a station office or a transport office. There are no display cases in the museum, so visitors can see items up close and try some of them out.
