Museums Baráky

The creation of the museums in Vracov was preceded by an exhibition entitled "Vracov then and now" in 1965. The exhibition displayed costumes, embroidery, interior equipment, tools, tools, dishes and more. Citizens who lent exhibits wanted them to be donated to the city, so a decision was made to set up a small museum. For this purpose, two houses were purchased in Barák Street. They used to be open at the time of feasts. Over the years, museum caretakers left and the exhibits began to deteriorate. The museum was then moved to one of the houses. In 2015, the second house underwent restoration and got a new roof. Newly acquired objects were installed here. At present, museum No. 1 houses an exhibition that captures the life of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Museum No. 2 is equipped with equipment from the middle of the 20th century. There is also a small wine cellar and courtyard.
